Today we will give you a detailed overview of all the new features and fixes we added in the latest patch 0.9.0.
A Whole New Game Experience
With patch 0.9.0, we are making a big leap towards our vision and continue the Year of Adoption. The gameplay has been tremendously enhanced for both new and long term supporting players. Check our latest featured blog post A WHOLE NEW GAME(PLAY).
TL;DR
- The first Season and Free Passes are added to the game
- Daily and weekly quests guarantee a continous progress
- New Soulbound and Blessed Items are introduced
- Predefined Formations are replaced by the new concept based on The Armory
- Arena Uth'Arak evolved and contains now different layouts of obstacles
- Domination Points will impact the strategic part of the game massivly
- Various adjustments to the UI / HUD

General improvements and adjustments have been made across the game client to enhance overall functionality and player experience.

Free and Season Passes
Season Pass and Free Pass
Daily and Weekly Quests- The Free Pass is available to all players, offering a variety of rewards as you progress through the season. For those looking to enhance their experience, the Season Pass unlocks even more exclusive items.
- Typically, each season will last one month and feature different rewards. After a season ends, your archieved rank, Free Pass and Season Pass are resetted.
- You can progress through the pass by completing daily and weekly quests, as well as by playing games. Daily and weekly quests will advance you further than simply playing matches.

Soulbound and Blessed items
Blessed Item with quality and Souldbound Item without quality- We are introducing a new type of item: Soulbound Items. Going forward, there will be two categories of items—Soulbound Items and Blessed Items.
- Blessed Items, which are our current NFTs, remain unchanged. We've simply given them a name to distinguish them from the new Soulbound Items.
- Soulbound Items are virtual counterparts to Blessed Items. Each Blessed Item has a corresponding Soulbound version, with specific limitations in power, functionality, and usability. These items are designed to be accessible to all players and are an important feature to pay attention to.
- Soulbound Items are bound to your account and cannot be transferred. They are virtual assets and do not exist as NFTs on the blockchain. You can find them in your inventory in the newly added tab "Overview".

Main Menu and Notification Markers
Rearranged main menu and notification markers- We've introduced notification markers on important features to guide players towards key actions and progress, while also decluttering and organizing the main menu screen. These changes are designed to help you navigate the game more smoothly and make the most of every opportunity.

Shop - Season Pass
Offer Season Pass- Each month a new Season Pass is released. Check out the shop for your premium rewards throughout the seasons.
- Whether you want to skip the grind or complete it faster, you can unlock levels quickly by purchasing individual Season Pass Levels. Simply navigate to 'Season Progress' under 'Seasons' and unlock the level you desire.

Adjusted Ranking AP Limits

With the reduction of playable units in battle from 10 to 8, we've adjusted the minimum and maximum Ancient Powers across all ranks accordingly. Your current rank and its limits are shown in the Armory.

Action Economy - Stamina ⚡
- The new Stamina system is the essential mechanic that opens up gameplay and makes it more dynamic. With Stamina, players now have the freedom to make multiple actions (move & attack) in a single turn, bringing a higher level of excitement and depth to the game.
- At the start of each turn, the player gains 10 Stamina Points ⚡ (SP). Each action of one unit - e.g. moving one tile, attacking an enemy or healing someone - will cost 1 SP. Attacking and healing are hard-actions, so the unit is immobilized afterwards.

Domination Points 💢
- Domination Points will directly damage the commander's health after each turn. No damage will be dealt if both players hold an equal number of points.
- Damage will scale with the number of Domination Points controlled, with 1 point causing 200 damage, 2 points causing 300 damage and 3 points causing 400 damage. No damage will be dealt if both players hold an equal number of points.
