With the aim of subjecting the game to rigorous community testing, we gradually expanded access for players. This growth was deliberate and steady, allowing us to move from the initial 100 exclusive players to a remarkable total of over 21,000 mortals who stepped into the realm of Altea.
Looking back, we can confidently state that the Devnet Testphase was a resounding success, as shown by the metrics available below.
Taking a close look at the current statistics from the Devnet, it's clear that Knights of Cathena is poised to make a significant impact on the MultiversX ecosystem. And remember, this is just the start. Now that we've overcome the initial challenges, we have the opportunity to bring in a a new wave of users to the MultiversX ecosystem and contribute to the network's growth to the best of our abilities.

Of course, once the Alpha version of Knights of Cathena is live on the Mainnet we won't stop there. This is actually where the real adventure begins. If you have a closer look at our roadmap there are a lot of features coming in the next step.
The big focus with the next expansion lays on fostering the community. Implementing Noble Houses, a renting system for items, and even the introduction of friendlists and chats will be a huge driver of creating a real community united with an outstanding gameplay experience.
Item Renting
One of the most obvious features being developed is item renting. With this, we want to give everyone an additional opportunity to earn with their hard-earned items in a passive way.
Noble Houses
The most important feature that will drive the social experience are the noble Houses. They serve as a future social hub for like-minded players while providing exciting benefits for owners and members. They introduce new revenue streams while fostering a sense of collaboration for a common goal. That's what Noble Houses will be.
Chats and Friendlists
Last but not least, one of the most basic features that social beings like our players need to get connected: chats and friendlists. How could a community be built without the ability to talk to newfound friends (or enemies)? Bringing players even closer together will be the final piece of the puzzle to tie them to our universe.
